4F sums up its cooperation with the Polish Olympic Committee

Part of OTCF S.A., the 4F brand—the biggest Polish producer of sportswear and sports accessories—proudly sums up 14 years of cooperation with the Polish Olympic Committee. As a sponsor of the national team, the company designed and delivered the special collections for, among other things, the last seven Olympic Games, during which the Poles have collected a total number of 50 medals.

The cooperation of the 4F brand and the Polish Olympic Committee began in 2009. The OCTF team designed and delivered the special collections of sportswear and sports accessories for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010, Sochi in 2014, Pyeongchang in 2018, Beijing in 2022, as well as the Olympic Games in London in 2012, Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and Tokyo in 2020. The brand also prepared collections for Polish national teams for European Youth Olympic Festivals, Youth’s Olympic Games and European Games.

An impressive track record of cooperation

During the last 14 years, the 4F brand has clothed over 3700 people: representatives of Poland, members of the staff and members of the Olympic Family. Under the auspices of PKOI, 30 sports events have been organised. The company provided the Polish athletes an impressive number of over 140 000 items of clothing and sports accessories. The equipment marked with the 4F logo has reached 897 members of the national Olympic teams competing in seven editions of Olympic Games. Having earned a medal, 50 Polish athletes managed to reach the podium.

Just as the Polish Olympics participants were in their best shape for the Olympics, the 4F team worked on each of the Olympic collections with diligence and creativity. We have created a standard for the special Olympic collections, and making each edition of the Games better from the last one has become a mission of 4F. Just as in the case of the two last Olympic Games, the elements of the collections were created using state-of-the-art, ultra-light materials, based on a thoroughly thought-out design, including both national themes and the symbols of the host country. ‘I am immensely proud of the whole team behind these projects - stresses Igor Klaja, the president of OTCF S.A.

Over half of the Olympic collections by 4F from the last two editions of Olympic Games in Tokyo and Beijing was produced in Polish sewing factories. It allowed to alleviate the carbon footprint resulting from their production. Additionally, part of the produced clothes was made from post-consumer waste and recycled materials.

Part of the Olympic Family and a partner of Polish sportsmanship

4F remains a partner of the Olympic family as a sponsor of the committees of countries such as Latvia, Croatia, Greece, and Slovakia for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. During the two last editions of the Olympic Games, the national teams of 9 countries played in 4F clothes.

The brand will also continue its support of the world of Polish sport by cooperating with, for example, the Polish Basketball Federation, Polish Ski Association, Polish Biathlon Association, Polish Athletic Association, PKO BP Ekstraklasa soccer clubs, all teams of the basketball Orlen Basket Liga and Orlen Basket Liga Kobiet (Women’s Orlen Basket League) or the three-time winners of the volleyball Liga Mistrzów – Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The circle of 4F ambassadors includes, among others, Anna and Robert Lewandowscy, or Bartosz Zmarzlik.

The cooperation with the Polish Olympic Committee was a privilege and an honour for 4F. It brought us a lot of joy thanks to the successes of the Polish athletes, allowed us to develop our products and technologies, and provided a tremendous support in the international expansion of 4F. Our products can be now found in 44 countries on five continents. ‘More opportunities for collaboration in sports still await us, both abroad and in Poland’ summarizes Igor Klaja
